Never been kissed

Well, just wanna tell there's no hyperbole, it's all true :) Hope you like it !

Never 'been kissed,

never, by woman's lips, I've been touched,

never, my lips've been sealed by true passion,

never 'experienced such a natural sensation.

Always 'wanted to wait for my soul mate,

always, to share this moment on a magical date,

always, proud to say I'll be: "she's the only one I kissed",

always, her beautiful and adorable lips I've dreamed.

When we meet, we'll share an endless kiss,

when we meet, no doubts I have I will love her,

when we meet, she'll be mine and I'll be hers,

when we meet, the sea and the summer moon will be her maids,

and everlasting love I'll promise her with a kiss, when we meet.

Author's Note

Tried to write a chanson, if Charles D'Orleans made it right, it should be something like 3 stanzas: quatrain - quatrain - 5 verses-stanza.

Okay where to start. First off, I love this. :) Enjoyed the innocence and honesty, the sweetness and romance in this poem. The details especially in the last stanza are really quite nice.

Sometimes the person you have the first kiss with isn't going to be the true love, and sometimes the person that you do have your first kiss is the true love because it works out and saving the kiss was worth it. Waiting for that one special someone, the true love, the soul mate, does take love and patience. A kiss is so special if shared with that right one. Very nice write, thank you for sharing and posting. Enjoyed reading this lovely and sweet poem. Hope you find your true love who is someone special to share that kiss with. :)

Wow, this is beautiful and sweet! I think it's great that you're saving your first real kiss for that special girl. Don't ever feel bad just because everyone has had their first kiss, because I'm right there with you on that! I'm 15 and all of my best friends, and half of my High School's student body has already have their first kiss. I feel left out but oh well. Haha, this is a great poem and I can totally relate. :)

My first kiss meant a lot to me, it was like losing my virginity haha. I waited till I was 18 to have my first kiss. I'm not with the guy I gave my first kiss to, but I don't regret it. The fear of kissing is gone so I'm able to do it without fear now, which is a relief.

I've never wrote one myself, props to you for always seeking new forms and experiementing your style :)

As for the poem itself, it really took me back to my high school romantic self. Externally, I portrayed the "ewww love is gross!" persona but internally I was determined to find "the one" and only ever kiss him etc etc... Didn't get my first kiss until i was... twenty :( lol lame but yea, then college and yea, romance gets lost in alcohol and parties but I've grown, somewhat and am a firm believer in romance and proud of it! Glad to see there are romeos out there! Go woe taylor swift now!
