Victory VisionsA Poem by Dominic Shaya
downtroden,bloody faced and demotivated,
thinking of my heroic actions that are unappreciated, i convince myself that there is no need to go the extra mile, that hardwork is not worth the while. but beneath that premature conviction there is an unquenchable fire, a fire that makes me believe i can do whatever i desire, in the midst of tempestous bellows of doubt, that tiny glimer of hope finally drives the darkness out, and leaves a warm light of unbelievable might, in the midst of this 'road to ruin' i can finally take flight, to reach unimaginable heights. © 2013 Dominic ShayaAuthor's Note
