It could, but for a whileA Poem by Dominic Shaya
They said ' money can't buy happiness'
To me those were just but vain babblings of broke old b******s I could get anything I wanted in a minute or less Indeed, my company was comprised only of prominent men and masters I had become allergic to losers, I rolled with the best In my case money could buy happiness It all happened too fast, out of thin air dark clouds gathered All of a sudden my loved ones and so called friends left My kingdom was falling, the once green leaves had withered I was left in solitude as I lamented and wept All those hours I put in, how hard I laboured All of it, all of them, all of me, by the winds of change was swept That's when I realised, money could buy happiness.....but for a while © 2013 Dominic ShayaAuthor's Note
