Spring CleaningA Story by DominicA family story in 100 words or less"Throw it!" My father yelled. “You sure?" My uncle replied. It was the 70's, my father and uncle were young kids cleaning out their garage. My uncle, the little brother, held in one hand a yellow frisbee, and in his other, a pitchfork. They stood a few yards apart, a perfect distance for a pleasant frisbee toss. “Yeah I'm sure, throw it." My uncle shrugged, steadied himself, and launched a perfect arching pass. The object in the air however, was not the frisbee, but the pitchfork. It’s a story the family can laugh at now; just a few stitches later. © 2020 Dominic |
