Six years, departure lounge

Six years, departure lounge

A Poem by DOMI'

A charcoal room cage of the ghosts,

Empty deaf walls with memories in their blind paper eyes,

Silent half-closed drawers filled with stars, moons and trash,

A dusty cold window with the view on a sky I have never seen,

A wardrobe that bares few secrets and hides a mask,

A shy fireplace that has never burned a single piece of wood,

A trembling shelf that has danced and read,

A desk that has vigilated on the hypochondria,

A chair that has supported the state of idleness,

A bed that is still dirty of drops of cinnamon and poison.

It's the beginning of a new era,

I go back to the wind,

I go back where I belong to.

I go back home to see if it's true,

I am becoming a man because of what I learnt from you.

You gave me a shelter, dignity and vices.

I came that I was angry and I was hungry,

I am going that I am in love,

But I am still hungry.

After six years, I am leaving you.

I will sleep a last time in your night.

I will remember each of our days.

Good night howels,

Good night lions,

Good night my friends,

Good night angels,

Good night my princess.
