Where my eyes are staring at

Where my eyes are staring at

A Poem by DOMI'

Where my eyes are staring at

What does it mean,

Whatever comes through my eyes,

Whatever my mind forces me to believe?

Shall I be bothered about it,

Shall I just pass my hand over my eyes and forget about it?

I don't know what I am searching for.

I don't always look at where my eyes are staring to.

It's not just because I don't want to see,

I am scared to see,

It's not just because you and me.

I needed nothing until I met you,

I had given up on those love things.

Life was a show,

I was just another guest in the audience.

Then, I wanted to feel the pride again,

You kissing my lips,

I was aware,

You told me that they were soaked in poison.

I decided to take the ride.

Scared of love? Yes, I was indeed,

Because I still look at it with the eyes of a child.

Every love for me is the first one and,

I reached the end with all of them.

You might wonder what I have learnt.

I learnt nothing.

I haven't learnt to love,

I haven't learnt to hate

I am still lost in the desert of a child,

In the desert of pure love and,

Nobody there ever thought to build a shed.
