Identity - Par sum unicuique et moriatur qui me condemnit

"I am what I am and what I am is enough". We live in an era where social identity is often spoilt and corrupted by an increasing competitiveness between individuals often demanded by the authorities and corporations with the aim of achieving the myths of the "Superman/wonderwoman" very dear to the capitalistic minds who runned, run and will run our society. We are often forced to be what we are not just with the aim to feet through the mass and match the society standards of behaviour, trends and life style. We are asked since an early age to learn to wear a mask and many times we wear more than one mask with high risks of confusing oneself mind and we become one, thousands and nobody. There the need of an individual to follow the weekly trends and fashions and the need to belong to a certain type of "people" and the lack of self confidence. "We are free to do what they tell us to do. We are free to be what they tell us to be. We are free to say what they tell us to say" said once the american comedian Bill Hicks. We are all different between eachother, we all percieve everything differently because our past, culture and the nature of our senses, we can not be put in standars. The insane plan of standardization of everything and so of identities, I consider it as an attempt by the minds in charge of creating a paranoid individual and because of this the situation will degenerate towards a social confusion and a split society where our identities will be the demented products of this repugnant masterplan of standars. "I am what I am and what I am is enough but what I am I just don't know".
