Christmas Toys And Veggies Too

Christmas Toys And Veggies Too

A Poem by Sue
"

This is a fun write about gifts for Christmas

"

In my cabbage patch I found a doll
Among my tomato plants was a toy red BMW
Lurking amongst my broccoli was a cheeky clown
using my celery as a baton
Deep within my spinach crop was a toy plane
preparing to take-off from the top of the pumpkin pad
Peeking out from between the peas was a cuddly teddy bear
and under the ears of corn was a toy piano
Along a bit further the asparagus elves
were playing sword fights with the carrots
Whilst underneath the radishes
the parsnip twins played marbles
Spring onions shot up high
as through the beans toy cars sped in and out
The beetroot blushed as the salad dressed
Mr and Mrs Capsicum sunned themselves
Baby Elmo giggled as he played with Mr Potato Head
So you see my mystical magical mixed vegetable garden
provides me with not only my Christmas peas and all
but my toys as well, but there isn't much room(mushroom)left
