Goodbye

Goodbye.

With evrery breath, goodbye.

The time has come for me to lay to rest this life.

The chance has come for me to put in place the final knife.

This heart is already broken

so where will it be pierced?

This head has already spoken

and the voice is fierce.

This dream has been shattered

by those with hate in their hearts.

This girl is torn and wounded,

left to fall apart.

 

So goodbye.

The tears stain my face, blood red,

the depth, no one knows.

And now its over, its over

the blood stains my clothes.

Goodbye.

With my last breath, goodbye.

The fight was not my wish

and not for me to win.

The pain is just too much,

I'm bleeding out the sin.

The sin of those who hate,

those who refuse to love.

The hate that now lives in me too

is crushing me from above.

 

So long and goodnight my dear

let the love left in me live on.

As I end this life here

and find somewhere else to belong.
