Always Love

Always Love

A Poem by Brittany

She's trapped in the final desicion of misery
She doesn't want to live her life this way..
Not all lost in constant beatings, in tremendous fear..
She may have lost hope but a wise woman once told her..
"There's always love dear.."
So she's holding on to words even though there's too many crucial actions..
Searching for some inspiring distractions..

Once again there's another over-lap of pain..
There's so many layers she can decide where to cross the lines..
All she knows is that happiness is trying to find her but everything is taking her strength away..
She wants is to jump into someone's arms and forget about the long, harsh day..
She doesn't want to hear the loud screaming, she doesn't want to feel a strong hand thrown across her face
Her only prayer is to get out of this place..
Fall onto a heart that has love..

"Stop", she whispers,"just stop.." as she pretends to watch everything in slow motion..
Those hateful eyes, that crazy..evil smile...
Too many immoral emotions..
It seems like nothing can take away the thought for even a little while
She wants to live for something meaningful and beautiful..
She wants to look back on her life to where she considered home and know there was some bit of love and she wasn't all on her own
"God d****t,"she cries,"I don't want to be alone.."

Every night all she hears is that she's not worth it and is kicked again and again..
So numb with pain she's completely lost..
So crippled and shaked up she can barely tilt her head to pray..
But then she remembers the wise old woman who found her alone in a state of fear..
She hugged her tight and beautifully mumured..
"There's always love dear.."

And within that moment of laying there on the ground..everything seemed far gone..
Nothing semed to matter anymore other than a light that was blinding her
The hand went backwards..
The words were muted..
And the hateful eyes and crazy smile were replaced with the face of an angel protecting her..
"God,"she weakily pronounced,"God.."
And then everything went black as she fell into his mercy.
