When he tells me to go rightA Poem by Annabelle LeeThings are just a little hard right now
I try and try
Because all I want is for him to be proud of me I am a good student, sometimes great I rarely ask for much and I work my hardest I never try to rub you the wrong way You think that I'm hiding things from you on purpose What did i do to deserve to be mistrusted I do my work I clean my room I'd do Anything you asked me to The harder i try to make you proud The more it seems i do the exact opposite You tell me to go right, and i do Only to get in trouble Because you meant your right And i went mine Sometimes i just say,"Yes Dad." when i get yelled at Even though i have no idea what I did wrong But it makes sense Because I am always wrong At least, thats what I hear Whenever i finally think i got it write
