Little peopleA Poem by Annabelle Lee
All you attention starved little people
All you financially deprived little people All you not-the-brightest little people All you bullied little people This one's for the little people They tell you it gets better, and eventually it might But I'm going to tell you what I know, because Annabelle doesn't lie People are going to be a******s That's just how it works They can make it suck, but they can't make it hurt You're the one who makes lemons out of sour lemonade And you sit around and wait for someone else to save your day All you attention starved little people You aren't the only ones who hurt I know it seems like they don't listen But trust me, life could be worse All you financially deprived little people Just make sure you're still alive You can get out of this on your own But there are people around to help you try All you not-the-brightest little people It's not to late to learn You don't have to be the smartest To be given what you earn All you bullied little people The bullies won't stick around Just make sure not to surround yourself With people who want to put you down To all the other little people Because I know these aren't all of the cases You're the ones who belittle yourself And live with labels instead of faces
