They told me I could sing

They told me I could sing

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

They told me I could sing
But they were just a bunch of drunk guys
So I made myself a video
Cuz the Internet doesn't lie
Listen to me if you will
But you know you don't have to
I just want some honesty
And whatever words you have will do

Dad made me sing for some friends the other night, they enjoyed it I think. Honesty is the best policy

*Finishes watching video and stares in astonishment.*
You are talented, Annabelle Lee. Who knew that a person could hold such talent?! I am impressed. Other than you sending me a read request, the title caught my attention. I read on and on. I was interested to hear what your voice sounded like. I liked the song you sang, so that made me even more curious to hear more. I am going to give my honest feedback to your singing.....you're far from sounding horrible. You are a potential upcoming Kelly Clarkson or something in that nature. *laughs* You get what point I am trying to make here. Keep writing...and singing. You have talent in both. :)

with a bit of practice, you will be perfect :) (although if you ever do consider being a singer, don't go on the x factor or american idol if you actually care about music)
