Front of the packA Poem by Annabelle Lee
Spent two whole years on someone else's tail
Following them through my own personal hell Not even the same person every step And letting someone pass me is a constant regret I let too many of them take what's mine Well that's happened for about the last time I've never been the worst, put me in the middle of the pack Never really been in the front, running too fast for the back It won't happen anymore I'll be tired, I'll be sore It'll be worth it, what the hell am I waiting for? I'm ready to step up and reclaim me Ready to be up there in the lead It'll take a while, but I'll get on track Next time you'll find me at the front of the pack © 2013 Annabelle LeeAuthor's Note
