Something new

Walked into the beauty shop

With and image in my head

I want the layers messy

I want the hair dark red

I sat there in the beauty shop

And patiently waited 

Thinking what I would look like

with my little ginger head

I got into the chair

The hairdresser asked me what I'd like

I showed her my picture

She looked and said alright

She brought out a book

With samples of dyed hair

Asked me what color I wanted

I pointed and said, "Right there"

Then she put the dye in

And I sat there for a while

When she washed it out

All I could do was smile

She cut up my layers

And gave me lots of fringe

I knew it would look fine 

I didn't quite expect this

So I'm sitting here writing away

About my latest 'do
