Walk inside to handle nature's call

And realize the dogs have no water at all

Take it to the sink and fill it up

Then my cell phone decided to jump

Leaped out of my pocket and splashed right in

I'll never buy a smart phone, or a touch screen again

After drowning three, maybe four, in less than two years' time

I guess careful ownership of cell phones,

Isn't a strong suit of mine

You can buy waterproof covers but they're expensive, my husband has one. My daughter lost one phone in the toilet, it fell out of her pocket, the other one disappeared for weeks only to be found in the well where her windshield wipers are on the car, my son's has gone through the wash and mine has too. It happens a lot.

Ha! I'm like that with computers, laptops in particular. I am forever spilling my adult beverage on them ;-) The third line made me scratch my head a bit, then I realized you meant the dog's water bowl..At first I thought you meant you took the dog to the sink and filled it up xD Nicely done.
