False HopeA Poem by Annabelle Lee
Don't look away like you don't care
Don't walk right by pretending I'm not there I know you notice, I know you see But how the hell do I get you to speak to me But I look away pretending you aren't there I walk right by though I see you there I talk to him like you don't matter to me But you matter more than anybody So Is it better reality or just a dream I'm so sick of pretending Tell me, tell me how you feel Tell me, tell me if whatever it is is real Please Don't let me sit here drooling and daydreaming If it won't happen there's no point in believing If it might happen, please let me know But don't you dare go and give me False Hope
