Did Extemporaneous in forensics today

First time, didn't exactly go my way

All my draws of the political type

I've never been into the Washington hype

In speaking on the Fiscal Cliff, Borrowing limits, and gun rights

I realized just how much Washington affected my life

I myself, had tried to take part

But all this talking really took to my heart

Got to talk all day long

About what the president is doing wrong

Some judges hit me for not using his title

As important as he is to me, might as well be Fifle

He doesn't deserve to be called "President"

I will use his title when I feel he deserves it

But he's done us no good, just broken promises again

Blaming it on congress for not giving him his "Grand Bargain"

Wants to steal from the rich and give to the poor

Robin Hood isn't so cool anymore

Take money from the people who work for it,

Give to the people who don't

Who in their right mind will support that?

Man, I surely won't

Next, a gun rights' bill

Laws won't make people not want to kill

Taking away our guns won't end our bouts

People can use anything to take other people out.

Washington has no idea what's going on out here. 

Which is why we change the head every four years

Ahh. The horribly uncomfortable topic of politics.
Yeah, the well fair system is jacked up, but there are some people who actually DO need it. So, instead of totally giving up on it totally, maybe set better guide lines for who can use it.
I do agree on the right to bare arms, though. Who's to say that someone just can't get a gun illegally? Happens all the time, a law won't stop that.
I love Obama. I support gay rights, and I'm happy that they are getting a chance to marry.
Still, you can't possibly say that he was the worst. There is always Bush... -.-
We would be A LOT worse off if Mitt Romney was president... He was an idiot. XD

i find it continually amusing and disturbing that so many Americans actually believe that the things our republican congress is doing are the actions of our democratic president. they have fought him tooth and nail every step of the way on every issue. anything he has managed to get done has been at the expense of the american people simply because he had to make nice with things he didn't want for us....if you people would do unbiased research on the political machine in this country you might know the true facts, yet, you listen to and believe the rhetoric of idiots and wealthy lobby supporting jerks like boehner, mccain and cantor....know the facts before you make the judgments.

I guess in a summary I would say that government has it's place, but was designed to be limited by the constitution. "Ordered" liberty. Well, we need traffic lights, postal service, army, police/fire, but not a lot of the overreaching government programs/agencies we have today. Basically, "Your freedom to be you also includes my freedom to be free from you" Romney, to me, was a better choice than Obama, but we are just postponing our demise by electing him and so we elected Obama and more people are waking up. Obama has issued more unconstitutional executive orders than any other president (imperial). Anyway, you have a right to vote for anyone that you choose (I don't know your preferences). That is just my opinion.

I do not support Boehner, etc. Division is good though when your leader wants to go down a path you disagree with. This is why our founders created a constitutional republic, not a mob rule democracy where 51 percent can take from the other 49.

republicans continually hack away at education, social services, unemployment and help for the mentally ill and homeless. they had all but wiped out the social security reserve when bill clinton took office and bill got it refurbished and actually showed a surplus rather than a deficit in the economy for the first time in over 60 years in this country. republicans like to b***h about big government but the truth is that if you let private contracting take over the people (you and i) lose every right to have a say in the affairs of state, because the government will no longer be of the people, by the people and for the people...it would all be privately owned, like a huge corporate country club...then the government gives not one iota of concern for the people's interest and welfare, but only for that corporation and its profits. it would be a police state with no civil rights and no personal freedoms, yet,some people in this country have the ignorance and audacity to call Obama a socialist. if you wwant to see socialism, as it was in Hitler's time....go ahead and keep allowing private corporations to take the reigns and eventually wipe out all the people's rights and freedoms. yes, America, keep voting for the very wealthy republicans who represent not the people but the big businesses in this country. does that answer your questions, Annabelle?

the 2nd ammendment guarantees us the right to bear arms. i have no problem with that. what we don't have the right to is automatic weapons designed for mass murder and spree killings...it needs regulation. that is what Obama is seeking. do the research into the true nature of government and what they are trying to achieve rather than buying into what the haters and naysayers are saying about our president. he is not perfect, but he is doing far more to improve our infrastructure and our social and educational issues than anyone else in years. remember that he inherited a nightmare economy from a half-witted meglomaniac and he needs cooperation from his congress to fix it. the people fighting him don't want it fixed, they just want their side to be in power. big business is behind them.....do the math.

First I must correct you on something, the tax deduction that is being allocated from the rich is a much needed endeavor, I have been working since I have been 16 and I am 34 now. Every pay check I received, a minimum of 22% - 27% was taken out for federal taxes. But the rich only pays 12% - 17% how is this fair. Only entitle individuals who was handed everything vita parents will say something like this. And the primary reason the economy is not fix is because of the elected official that you as a republican pull in office, I have republican friends who didn't vote for these Unamerican Congress and Representative who want our country to revisit the stone-ages. Remember this, the President only have the ability sign-off on bills, its Congress and House of Representative vote to pass the bills. So rethink your blame, and don't be one those people who believes in the smoke and mirrors they kept feeding, do some research before you form an opinion.

My apologies for your offense, this is my own opinion, there's no need to be angry with me. I didn't say the wealthy should not be taxed, but a lot of them have worked for every penny they've earned and they're going to get it taken away so illegal immigrants can pay for cigarrettes, it is unfair that they are taxed less than us lower class americans, we should have equal percentages, in that I can agree with you.

My stepmom is a business manager at a local nursing home, my dad just got out of being our county's maintenance man in one of the poorest counties in kansas, We live in a family of five children and at times have absolutely no money in our account due to expenses. You think I've had everything HANDED to me? apparently You haven't done YOUR research, mister, You have no idea where I came from, you have no idea who I am. If you'd have read one of my many past works, you may have seen that, My Birthmother was a junkie who didn't give a s**t about either me OR my little brother, my dad was in the military, he had to go overseas, I've been through the system, I've been through divorce, not knowing if I'm gonna be in the same house next week that I was at that precise moment. I know that WE have worked our asses off to get where we are, and at times we're worried even THAT won't be enough. So I am sorry for offending you, but I guess you've managed to do the same back to me, and we can walk away from this as equals, nobody's win, nobody's loss. And I advise you in the future to not cast judgements on folks who aren't looking for them.

This is true, I don't knock your patriotism, and immigrant is a problem, but who think are the ones who profit from this, Republicans - the highest amount of immigrants are in Republican states, I love looking at both sides of the argument, the system is faulted it has been fault before 9/11. I just want people to wake up and look in front of them and stop pointing fingers causing division. We have the power to change things for the better, because in 30 yrs when I retire there will be nothing to retire too.

Referring to states as either "Democratic" or "Republican is only fueling the division, looking past the two parties and seeing the country as one unit, all 50 UNITED states, is what it's going to take in order to solve conflicts such as this. And my opinion on immigration is not related to one party, I've not looked at the statistics there yet so I've not an opportunity to prove/disprove my case there.

Most presidents aren't good leaders, and the best get assassinated. As for gun rights, that is going to be a long, hard battle for Obama. How often does the Bill of Rights get ammended? Never. He's fighting a losing battle on that one. Congress won't pass anything as long as the Second Ammendment is there. It's one against many.
