Confusion and Colors

Confusion and Colors

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

Remember when you were young?
And color books were still fun?
You could take anything that existed now
And color it soft, or color it loud
You could color it wild, or color it calm
You could color it right, or color it wrong
What if you were on that page
And you could color yourself, any way
This is the s**t that comes to my mind
When I have nothing to do with my spare time
You could color me red
When I want everyone dead
Or color me blue
When I'm too upset to speak to you
You could color me yella
When I've found my fella
Or color me pink,
What do you think
You could color me grey
When I don't care either way
Or color me black
When my life goes off track
You could color me white
When I feel alright
And color me green
When I'm not eating
Annabelle you need to go find a life
You'll be rambling on and on about colors all night
But you can't talk about orange, that one has no rhyme
It wouldn't fit at the end of a line
It would f**k up the whole poem, you'd have to start over
That would piss me off, I'd be writing slower
Instead of penning what comes to my mind
I's have to rethink it, wasting my time
And now it feels as if I've wasted yours
With a poem about confusion and colors

Ha I always like the 's**t that comes to your mind'....You are like a bowl of skittles or Peanut M&M's Annabelle Lee, very colorful to say the least!

There's sporange for orange, but silver has no perfect rhyme.
