It's why the dwarves "whistled while they worked" or why soldiers sang "Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag" as they marched off to war. The drudgery, the anxiety, the torment, the excitement, the passion are great and lessened if shared... the same is with love ... basically it's another journey into the unknown and it makes you feel stronger when you sing from the same song sheet as others.
