I'm living like a love song

I'm living like a love song

A Poem by Annabelle Lee
"

swacked the title from Selena Gomez's "I love you like a love song"

"
"I wanna be drunk when I wake up
On the right side of the wrong bed
Never an excuse I made up
To tell you the truth I hate what
Didn't kill me, It never made me stronger
Never at all"
Drunk- Ed Sheeran
I wanna feel like I've made it
When I get to the end of this pathway
Hoping, praying, making myself sick
To tell you the truth I love it
You didn't kill me, you only made me stronger
Through it all

"I guess you didn't care, and I guess I liked that
But when I fell hard, you took a step back, without me
Without me, without me, without me, me, me, me, me, me"
I knew you were trouble- Taylor Swift
I knew you didn't care, you knew I'd fall for that
Before I could fall hard, I pulled myself back, don't need you
Don't need you, don't need you, don't need you, you, you, you, you, you

"I heard our song on the radio,
I see your face everywhere I go
I thought I'd call just to let you know
I been thinking of you, thinking of you"
Thinking of you- Kesha
I'll write my words and publish those
You'll see my name everywhere you go
I'm not gonna call, cuz you already know
I'm too good for you, too good for you

It's why the dwarves "whistled while they worked" or why soldiers sang "Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag" as they marched off to war. The drudgery, the anxiety, the torment, the excitement, the passion are great and lessened if shared... the same is with love ... basically it's another journey into the unknown and it makes you feel stronger when you sing from the same song sheet as others. Or am I talking a load of crap?

That's what Taylor said but what I was thinking. ;-)
I guess I'm a little confused, and I think I'll just leave it at that ;-)

Nah, I'm just way too old for your hip cultural references xD I actually enjoyed this.
I love this poem. Those first two lines are a kicker, worthy of a country western song! This is one of my favorites by you.

i have played (toyed) with this idea a few times. it is always great fun to see what transpires at the end. you did very well to make this a cohesive and well binded piece instead of a fragmented mish mosh of words. kudos!

nice choices of words and a mixed up was great.
though it portray a sad aura it just right to expressed what you felt.
very nice!
ps. i can't read the yellow, its too bright... just a suggestion ...yellow is never good in a white background, hope you don't mind :)
