enough roomA Poem by Annabelle Lee
Come on in,
Take a seat Make yourself at home Welcome to my heart Where I reside alone I hope you enjoy your visit Sir, you musn't stay long Because I am very busy And I know that this is wrong If I could keep you here, I would I would love for you to stay But I just haven't enough room So I have to send you away The attic is dusty and full Of old albums and broken toys The basement is unfinished Not quite ready for boys The spare room has been changed Into my office these days Where I spend most all my time Where i read, where I write I'd like you to revisit Would you please come back soon? Because sooner or later I might have enough room © 2013 Annabelle LeeFeatured Review
