Worrywart Big Sister: help my baby brother!!!

I don't know what to do!

Sorry guys, not a poem but please, need help!

My little brother's come down with some spots, not like acne spots, not like pox spots, and not like measles spots. They are very splotchy and taking over his entire body. The poor boy
now appears to me mostly red with white, skin toned splotches. The red skin is raised and dry. He says there's barely an itch but he feels an occasional pinching sensation. One moment it will be his leg, the next, his face, or his belly. Basically, the pain is all over, but not at the same time.

My parents won't take him in, saying there isn't much the doctors can do, dismissing it as an allergy, heat rash, etc. But if it IS an allergy, we need.to know what he is allergic to! And I don't see how he'd be getting a heat rash near the end of December in the middle of the US.

I'm not sure what I'm asking for.... pray? comment? help?

if it were allergic reaction, taking an antihistamine should give some relief. If that doesn't work, you know you are dealing with something else.

i know, they would not listen... maybe they have some reason like budget is quite tight now a days perhaps... or insurance is not paying for it... either way there will always have they reasons...
