One of Mind's Many Fears

One of Mind's Many Fears

A Poem by Annabelle Lee
"

Got the Ida of personifying ideas from a new friend of mine, River Page. And the general Idea is coutesy of the ever faithful Pax

"
her mind comes first, it knows what's right
her heart battles on, it must win this fight
Mind tells heart, "Ice over, be cold!"
Heart says too mind, "You've grown far too old,
Can't you remember youth and love?"
But mind had no time for that, quickly had to grow up
Heart went dormant, absent for years
But she's back stronger than ever
One of Mind's many fears

A very forward and direct poem. Also in first person. It is quite different than my style but I cannot complain. Keep up the good work! :)
