Flute kind of noiseA Poem by Annabelle Lee
Fingers fly over buttons
To get the notes just right The sound is almost alien Notes aren't supposed to reach that height Yeah, you garage punks are pretty cool But can those electrified new age noisemakers Toot a symphony, too? Or play about three notes only moving your mouth? Or while you're beating away on your drumbs with just sticks Trust me, you can't touch this One day at band camp blah. blah. blah. Trust me again, I've heard them all It takes discipline It takes poise To make the classical Flute kind of noise
