More About Me (In Poetry Form)

A Poem by Annabelle Lee
"

Just kind of putting it all out there

"
Some things I bet you didn't know about me
I can't be alone in the dark
And I LOVE to sing
Scary movies will keep me awake
And watching my back
Day after day
If I look upset, I most likely am
But I'll tell you different
Just because I can
I have to many weaknesses and insecurities to count
And I'm not going to let you
Figure me out
My favorite color's bound to change
But it's often a shade of blue these days
My favorite song is Get In Line
But that also changes
All the time
I'm single now, and that's my choice
I'm not sure I'm ready
For any more boys
I spent tonight at home with the 'rents
And to me, that's time well spent
I love to run, competitive or otherwise
I have several friend's that are guys
I'll pretend words don't get to me
But I'll let it out somewhere I won't be seen
And they'll stick in there, for who knows how long
Like that annoying old Ke$ha song
I can't wait to get out of this little old town
Can't wait to just move out
Yeah, I'm still running from my past, I am
And someday I'll confront it
When I feel I can
I do enjoy material things
Then again, doesn't everybody?
I like to laugh and talk and riot
I also enjoy my fair share of quiet
I sleep with the radio on
And I'm always singing the same old songs
I'll run myself ragged, and sign up for more
But I'm not sure what I don that for.
I like to rollerblade and climb big trees
And that should be all you need to know about me
Feel free to ask If you're still  wondering
But I think I covered everything

Well, now that I don't know you, permit me to tell you something about your poetry. I have browsed through some of it and while some of your works are disturbing, this one is interesting in dealing with self perceptions. The style is very good and word choice is effective. I enjoyed it.

Thats cool how you have put your life in to a poem and maintained the rhyming through out.
