Irony

Irony

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

Right, left, step, ball-CHANGE!
I can't get my feet to do that
lalalalalalala
My Voice might as well call it quits too
Dribble Dribble,
Damn it, I lost the ball
Shoot Shoot
Nothing but......... air
Bump. set, spike it
I can't do it the way they like it
Oops, there's a fire hydrant there
Driving's not my forte
Ewwwww, anOTHER zit?
Not looking to good in the beauty department either
100 on the state math?
I don't even LIKE that subject!
Living room's spotless
They want me to clean it again next time
How come I am good at the things I hate?
And when I truly try to be good at something
My efforts are wasted
Oh the Irony
Is killing me
The only thing that I can do
That I also truly enjoy
Is being a best friend to you
And loving that certain, special boy

Hello everyone I am Annabelle Lee. I am FINALLY, after June 12, the ripe old age of fifteen. I'm a poet. I want to write novels, as well, but those do not belong on this site in hopes that someday .. more..
