Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to mourn the death of our country's innocence.
Look out the window
Nothing is ok
If you just leave it alone
It won't go away
Too long has my kind sat back and watched, disgusted. As pigs and selfish monsters ruined it for the rest of us.
Pretend there's no such thing as rape
Act like we're not controlled by hate
Say the dollar won't control us
Be completely, utterly heartless
Well I am done with having to just sit back and watch the scum of our country take advantage of us. And there is really NO reason for this. This is America! We are better than this.
There's a book called "From Dictatorship to Democracy" Written by a man Named Gene Sharp. A film was made about him in 2011 called "How To Start A Revolution." that explains how the book has worked and how effective his Non violent methods have been when pitted against dictatorships in Eastern Europe, the middle east, Africa etc. The protesters who shut down the WTO sumit in seattle Washington in 1999 (Battle in Seattle) used Jene Sharp's methods as well. You can see bits of the film on youtube. I was fortunate enough to see it in the cinima in 2011 and having the warrior's instinct that I have I was ready to start a revolution of my own walking out of the cinema, but I had to go to work (Excuses excuses) Another good film to see to get your revolutionary juices flowing is "Battle in Seattle." as above mentioned. I love revolutonary ideas. I fought in a really violent one in Iraq and I gotta tell ya, non violent has got to be a better way. VIolence feeds on itself in a way most people don't know about untill they see it happening right in front of them. That's why it's easy to start a war and next to impossible to stop one.

I can only say that lies never ends... even hate and selfishness are part of human nature... its really hard to shape up human nature... but its possible.... because its changeable... Our foot step is just one or two out of millions out there...

I guess I'm just sick of our young men going off and fighting four OUR freedom, and how do we show our appreciation??? How? Yeah, there's ceremonies and such but after that? War vets oftentimes get treated like crap. And we take our freedom and use it for drugs, alcohol, prostitution, vandalism, murder, theft, abuse. And the generation before mine is so worried about business and technology and who's got the deeper pockets. And what are they leaving the next generation?
Pollution, concrete, overpopulation, obesity. What kind of values are we growing up on? We've been taught since birth that human beings are controlled by the dollar bill. Who has the better houses, nicer cars, better paying jobs, nicest clothes, best view Is this REALLY what you want the young people of this generation to be consumed by?

Studying the course in college that is a high chance of a high salary..i can't blame anyone because i grow up in poverty. Growing up learning to be practical and make use of the little money to buy more.. drugs, alcohol, prostitution, vandalism, theft, abuse.. those really very common in our street.. guess it’s too much for us to handle every truth in our way.. besides the hardships of life we become very optimistic and be happy in the small things we have... Because it’s a blessing..
sometimes i think how can we stop pollution, its start with yourself... but the people around you doesn't understand that.
sometimes i think how can we stop overpopulation, its starts again with self-understanding. Knowing how to plan...it's called family planning.
obesity, self-preservation i guess or not being so greedy towards food meaning “Gluttony”…
the young now is hard to understand…they get bosses in big things that mean so little… At times it’s so hard to feed wisdom to this young ones…. Media can do that.. but there are too much destruction like other entertainments… so its hard for the children to focus in one thing.. some they tend to do everything in one time…
guess i really don't know how to answer every man's problem...

no one does.... but next to no one tries. and thats what i wanted to show people.
Hello everyone
I am Annabelle Lee. I am FINALLY, after June 12, the ripe old age of fifteen. I'm a poet. I want to write novels, as well, but those do not belong on this site in hopes that someday .. more..
