One of the strangest things in the nature world 

Regular lightning, cloud-to-ground, deadly

Ball lightning, unknown

Positive and negative fight a war in a cycle

I call this the Unknown Charge

Nature calls this Normal

Happening only a few times a century

Not even the rare ground-to-air lightning can attack this

Mother Nature has its secrets

Just think of ball with streaks of forked light, happening only a fraction of a second

The heat of the ball is hotter than the surface of the sun; over nine thousand degrees.

The ball is about as big as the sun looks like in the sky

This is the unknown, true, strangest, type of lightning

This is ...Ball Lightning...

Ball Lightning is indeed a fascinating and mysterious event. I love watching the cloud to cloud lightning. Had a bolt of that stuff zing across right in front of my old semi truck once, going over a cloud shrouded hill in Montana. The thunder clap was intense!
