Journey of Theia

I travel the Solar System

Orbiting in circles 

Saying hi to my brothers 

Earth, Mars, Venus, all of them

We are far, very far from eachother

Except for brother Earth

 Who's on the same track as me

 

Mother sun, she's calling my name 

She fears somthing terrible 

Then I see Earth face on in my orbit

Now I know mother was right about my fate

We crash, destroying me out of existence

Brother lives but barely alive 

My depris spin, revolve around him 

Over time, rocks and dust collect

 Forming a ball of rock 

As my mist flows around the belt

Brother Earth will always have a piece of me in his pelt

If you want to see the mists of my cry

All you have to do is look at the brightest thing in the sky at night

Author's Note

This was the story of the planets: Theia and Earth in the Great Bombardment. A area in time where hundreds of proto planets crash into each other creating our known eight planets and five dwarf planets.
