Ode to the helplessA Poem by Oswald Chesterfield CobblepotI've been seeing all these crime shows and... well this is what came out. Enjoy!
The darkness of the earth swallows us each
As we scream and claw, we hear mocking laughter Later the monster will give a well rehearsed speech Then he'll just be turned loose after The worms eat into our corpse as we sleep He's sitting in a hotel in Vegas, preying on another soul Slowly and surely to the helpless being he creeps Later, he throws her in a far off hole Our flesh is slowly decaying as we dream He finally gets a taste of his own game Now nothing is as it seems Another killer put to shame © 2014 Oswald Chesterfield CobblepotReviews
