This poem was written about a good friend who helped me when I lived in Las Vegas.

     Has three meanings

That I found

     On the internet.

Her name means

     Soul �" which she

Brought mine

     Back to life with some kind words.

Her name means

     Heart �" which she

Brought warmth

     Back to the

Lump of coal

     That was my heart.

Her name means

     Life �" which she

Brought a new

     Life back to

The empty shell

     That was my body.

 

She was an

     Angel sent by

The Lord my

     God to help me.

Her smile brought

     A felling of hope

Back to a

     Hopeless soul.

Her big, brown

     Eyes were filled

With a warmth

     That chipped away

At the darkness

     That had engulfed

Both my heart

     And soul for so long.

Being around

     Her made me

Fell more alive

     Than I had in years.

 

Though we

     Were only

Friends, I am

     Grateful for

Having her

     In my life.

I thank her

     For the life

That she

     Brought back to me.

I thank her

     For the creativity

That she helped

     To restore in my heart.
