Chapter Thirteen: Once Upon A Moon

Chapter Thirteen: Once Upon A Moon

A Chapter by Some Random Person.

Aisha followed me out. i didn't think she would, but she took the stairs and beat me. Why? I thought to myself. Why does she have to put herself in danger? She'd break in a heartbeat.
I ran around the corner with her tailing me. I reached a shadowy part and stopped. I stepped in side the shadows thinking only of Elijah, and POOF! I was in a medium size science lab. Elijah was on the floor, bleeding, and Gertinald was standing by the door. He still hadn't seen me, so I ducked around the corner of a lab dest and quickly looked at Elijah. I was trying o assess if he was still alive. I shook him alittle, which at first caused him to do nothing. I shook him a little more. No reply. I lookee around to see where Gertinald was.  He seamed like he was preoccupied. I shifted my attention back to Elijah. I shook him more. Then I beant over him and whispered in his ear, "Elijah! Stop [retending. Get up so  that we could escape!" That woke him up. I pushed him back on the ground. I didn't want to cause Gertinald to look. Then I looked around to make sure he wasn't looking. Pushing my long brown curly hair behind my ears and signed him to move. We moved under the nearest lab table and I shadow traveled uis out. We landed on my bed in the hotel room. He quickly stood up and looked around. Turning rapidly, he stubbed his toe on the corner of the bed and fell back on to the mattress in pain. I tried not tolaugh, but it was a bit hard. I grinned to stop it.
Grunting, he said, "Thanks, Elizabeth. Did you get my telepathic cry for help?"
I sighed. "No, Aisha's the one who noticed your disappearance. I only thought you were just taking a long walk, not kidnapped by the same murderous man known as Gertinald."
"Speaking of Aisha," Elijah looked around the room, "Where the hell is she?" he asked.
I sighed, "That's a good question." Where the hell was she? I walked towards the door, but quickly looked behind me. "I'll go find her. You stay here." He opened his mouth to protest, but I interrupted him. "No buts." Then I walked outside the room, closing the door, and off to find Aisha.

I ran around the city of Glenwood Springs trying to find her. No such luck. Then I decided to try shadow-traveling to her. No luck that way. I shadow-traveled back to the hotel room and tried to call her. Nope. Crap. Now that I've saved Elijah, I've got to save my best friend. This is going to be a long summer.  That's for sure.

I ran downstairs to buy something from the vending machine. When I got to the vending room, I starred at my choices. I had two dollars, which was enough to buy me a snack, and Elijah a drink. I already knew he wanted Pepsi (Unlike me, who is a coke fan), but what did I want? I starred for a while longer. Lays chips, baked lays chips, sun chips, Chex Mix, Cheddar Chex Mix... Choices, choices. What the hell do I want?

I decided to go with good ol' Cheddar Chex Mix, which is what I used to eat for a snack on the bus to the Natatorium for swimming during my Freshman year of High School. College Park was amazing. So was Harmony, but College Park was better. College Park had a lot more activities to be involved in than Harmony School of Advancement. There was only a few draw backs to College Park: It starts at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. unless you had JV swimming, which was until 3:30 p.m.

Wait... I'm getting off topic again. Oh well. Anyways, I got Cheddar Chex Mix and went back to the hotel room and plopped onto my bed. I found Elijah was sleeping on the couch, where he belongs. I got back up, placed his Pepsi on the table in front of the couch, then went back to my bed. I turned on the TV and flipped through the channels until it landed on CBS, then I staid at that channel because one of my favorite TV shows was on. N.C.I.S. They were starting to play one of the oldies, but I'm one of those fans that stop, drop and roll for any N.C.I.S. episodes. The one playing now was in the fourth season. Kate was still alive, and so was Jenny. The episode was called Driven. I kept watching it for another half an hour, until it was done, then I took a shower and went to sleep. I will find Aisha tomorrow.  Or so I thought.
