Chapter Twelve: Once Upon A Moon

"Where's Elijah?" Aisha asked as she got out of the restroom. I looked around. I hadn't noticed he was missing until now when she pointed it out. 

Donde estas? I sent to him even though I knew he didn't know any Spanish. 

"Bor-www-a?" Elijah sent back. Oh holy crap. He's either drinking, or he's been kidnapped. This is not good.

"Well?" Aisha asked, breaking my concentration I starred daggers at her. "Answer me!" I starred deathly daggers at her. "Oh, alright! I'll shut up now." 

I concentrated harder on his location. I even tried to break into his brain. But no, his brain was guarded heavily, even though he's probably unconscious. A thought came over. What if he's dead? That would explain why I can't get into him, or why he's not here.

No. He can't die. He can't be dead. He just can't! Don't even think such things, ELIZABETH! I thought to myself.

 But... If he's not dead, then what the hell happened to him? "Um?" Aisha cleared her throat, interrupting me, "I'm still here, you know!"

Shut up, Aisha! I yelled in my head. I stopped myself from saying it aloud though.

Yelling at her won't help the situation at all. But what should I tell her? I can't tell her the truth, but she'll certainly know that I'm lying, if I say something. So what should I do? I ignored Aisha a little longer, concentrating on breaking in to Elijah's brain. I need to find him. Quickly find him.

"Hello?" Aisha asks me again, "When are you going to answer me, Elizabeth?"

"Um..." I replied. "Answer what?"

"My question," She waved her hands as if it was obvious. I looked at her like I forgot. "Where is he?" a second later, "Elizabeth! Where's Elijah?"

"I don't know. He's missing."

"Then come on, we must go look for him!" I knew she was right, but I just didn't think I should be taking her along. Haylee was one thing, Aisha's another. It was easier to protect Haylee because I wasn't the only one. Now, I'm the only werewolf, and I have to find someone. I hope Colorado would be my break from crime, but that is not happening, is it? No.

"I'll go find him. You stay here." I said then left the room. 

"No! Wait! Eliza- Oh come on!" Aisha exclaimed to get me to come back. Not happening, Aisha. Nope.

"Sorry, Aisha, but I'm not risking you. Stay here, or I'll get you! And remember what happened last time!" I yelled behind me as I got into the elevator door. I walked into the metal box and pressed 1. I felt a bit queezy because the elevator went down a little too quickly. I was a bit glad when the tiny bell rang and I was on the first floor. I ran out the door and then I set out the lobby into the colder summer night's windy air to find Elijah.

So... This is a bit boring of a chapter... I don't know about it.
