(Shadow-Traveling To Aisha's)

"

I shadow-traveled back inside after I was done laughing. Elijah and Haylee starred at me with their mouths agape. Elijah was the first one to speak.

“H-How did you d-do that?” He asked surprised.

“It’s easy. It’s called shadow-traveling. Its how I burst in on you when you were peeing,” I explained. I started to laugh, but he gave me a long daggering death glare, so I stopped.

“So how do you do it?” Haylee asked.

“I’m sorry, Haylee, but I don’t think you can shadow-travel. Only werewolves can to my knowledge. It’s quite easy. You step into a shadowy corner or some other place that’s shadowy, and you vision where you want to go, step out, and you’re there,” I explained.

“So when you came into the bathroom-“ Elijah started, but I cut him off.

“I came back and saw you were missing. I shadow-traveled to where you were,” I explained quickly.

“How did you do that?” He asked.

“I’ll tell you later,” I replied, “If you want to know how to do it, that is...” He nodded. “Let’s go to the library. Step into the corner and imagine you’re in the library downtown. Step out, and look around. I’ll be right behind you.” He did as I told him. He disappeared, and I took his place in the corner. I stepped out, and was at the library. I forgot it was closed, so I quickly found Elijah and suggested we went to my friend Aisha’s house. A few seconds later, I was ringing the doorbell and was inside. I told Elijah to wait outside and appear in her room upstairs when I got in there.

“I thought you were in Arkansas!” Aisha exclaimed when we got in her room.

Come on up, Elijah. I sent him. “I was, just a few seconds ago.”

“Wait, what?” Aisha asked, and then the light came on. “Oh, yeah. I forgot you could do that.”

Then he appeared. Right in the middle of the room. He nearly scared Aisha half to death. I just cracked up. “Well done, Elijah,” I said.  Then to Aisha, “He’s just learning how to do that.” I looked around her room. It was the same as I remember it: Beige walls, two beds, blue and red flower drawings all over the walls. Aisha was a great artist.

“Wait,” Aisha said, “Are you telling me that he’s one too?”

“Yes,” I replied, “That’s exactly what I’m telling you.”

“You told her?” Elijah asked.

“Of course I told her. We NEVER keep secrets from each other, right?” I asked facing Aisha.

“Of course we tell each other everything!” Aisha exclaimed as if it was the most obvious thing on Earth. “There’s not a one secret between us!”

“Well,” I said breaking it up, “We should go back,” I looked at Elijah with a threatening look, “It’s getting dark, and our non-presence will be noticed.” I walked over to Aisha and hugged her bye whispering, “I’ll be back in 10 minutes.” Then we turned off the lights and disappeared.
