Bored.

Boring is boring,

No matter how you look at it.

It's always there,

Lurking in the shadows,

Or right in front of you.

People are bored at something,

Almost always.

Like a song that plays over and over,

Or reading a book that is so long and dragging.

Both are examples of boring things.

Or maybe you can't think of something to do?

Still, boring is boring,

No matter how you look at it.

This poem was boring. Just joking xD Well it is, in a good way. Everything's flat and uninteresting, just like the premise of the poem. The line 'lurking in the shadows' doesn't really work, though, because it's too interesting against the rest of the deliberately 'boring' imagery.
