Addict's Escape Prologue

I really need to find a better name for it...

When I was maybe 4 and a half years old, my mom was shot by my addict father, Morano. He was very cruel to her, and when I tried to tell the school nurse, he took me out of school and started beating me at home. He also made me be home-schooled. Let me just say that I escape when he's sleeping and go to my old school nurse.

Nice beginning

Really amazing beginning, but it's kind of short.
Two small errors:
four and a half should be written out
y
home schooled looks nicer as two words, instead of with a hyphen.
