Bored.

Yes, another one... I don't know why this is one of the more favorable subjects for me to write about....

Boring is boring,

No matter how you look at it.

It's always there,

Lurking in the shadows,

Or right in front of you.

People are bored at something,

Almost always.

Like a song that plays over and over,

Or reading a book that is so long and dragging.

Both are examples of boring things.

Or maybe you can't think of something to do?

Still, boring is boring,

No matter how you look at it.

I liked it - it's an original topic, and you approached it well. Your piece also had a great flow, but I felt like it lacked excitement. As it is, it's a brilliant piece, but to make it phenomenol, you could do with an extra few lines to really add a kick to what you're saying :) Great work, well done :)

Sort of a left-handed compliment and question, both before and after. Everything doesn't give an adrenaline rush... and importance is not necessarily tied to jump-up-and-down-attention-arms-waving action. The balance is to not become so complacent that you need to always risk everything for nothing.
