Oh, really? Follow me, why don't ya?

A Chapter by Some Random Person.

Once Homeroom was over, I gladly slipped out of the classroom and ran to my locker. I needed my notebook for Journalism. But, to my great dismay, he was already there at my locker, awaiting me.
"What class do you have next?" I asked, using all my self-control so that I won't growl. I prayed and prayed he wouldn't say Journalism. He didn't, thank God.
"I have Debate," he told me, "What do you have?" Great. Do I really have to answer this question?
"Journalism," I answered, cooly.
"What do you have after Journalism?" He asked me. Does he ever give up?
I checked my schedule. "Human Geography"
"AP classes, eh?" He asked me. How was that any of his business?
"Only in a couple." I reasoned out. I wasn't as good in math as I'd like to be, so I didn't push myself too hard to go to AP classes in math. I was great at History, Geography, and Social Studies. Same in Science. I've taken Spanish all my life, so I was ahead for most Americans. English was also my specialty. And I wanted to be a published author at some point, so I took Journalism. My second choice would be Debate.
"It doesn't look like a couple to me," Dave responded, "It looks like all but math is AP."
I took a second look. Yes, I guess he was right. "Yeah, I guess," was all I replied.
I quickly grabbed my Journalism notebook and closed my locker. I started to walk towards the Journalism Chamber, trying to get rid of Dave, but he persisted to follow me to the Journalism Chamber. Oh, come on!
"Are you sure you don't know where Debate is?" He still persisted.
"Yes, I mean, I've walked past it a couple of times, but I forgot where the court was." I told him.
"Okay. Well, thanks, anyway, for the help." Then he turned away, broken. "Can I find you for lunch?" He asked.
"Uh, sure, yeah." This is the exact thing that Taylor wanted herself. "Be by my locker."
"Okay," he smiled, happy again, "Thanks. By your locker, then." And with that, he turned away and walked down the hall.
And I turned and walked to my classroom door and sat down at my seat. This is going to be a long day.
