Ya know what?

Just some pondering, essay kinda stuff really

"Ya know what...?"

It's more of a statement than a question, really.

It usually precedes a diatribe of rhetoric that is observation and opinion.

I have heard it many times myself.

"Ya know what..."

We are a funny group of critters.

Of the tool and language using critters on the face of the Earth, I think we are the only ones that willing put down, talk down, overrun, dominate, and murder others of our own kind for the distinct justification and satisfaction of it.

That is kinda sad.

Now, the other critters kill one another for food or to secure their territories for food and sex.

We do it for sport, dogma, doctrine, theology, technology, money, stuff, and ... oh yeah, food and sex

I think that somehow this is not quite right. Kinda like "we should be better than this." And, we are not acting it.

May be we should be better at not permitting bullies and thieves to bully and thieve.

And guard ourselves against being bullies and thieves.

Hmm.

May be we can be better if we try.
