Nature

The morning sun
Kissing my skin
The happy birds
Chirping by the sea
The kids'laughter
Ringing in my ears
The sweet flowers
Filling up my nostrils
Oh,this is nice

It is nice
To see the dancing leaves
Ever so rhythmic
The soft wind
Caressing my cheek
The smile on my face
Reaching my eyes
The frown that was
Is there no more

It is nice
To finally embrace life
In these trying times
I shut everything out
To clear my mind
And leave all behind
To take a deep breath
And relax my nerves.

That is one of nature's greatest gifts to us, the ability to calm us and give us peace. It was nice to, in a way, see that progression here. This was well crafted and gave off the feeling of having your troubles gently eased away for a time.
