He was an Ariel, an acrobat. That is who he was and what he did. It was his life, his obsession. He stood now, perched on the high platform waiting for his turn to perform. Waiting for his turn to show the world, or at least this crowd, what he was capable of. The announcer below applauded as he stepped toward the circle, speaking charitable words about the act that had just finished. His great big lungs promulgated that it was the acrobats turn to amaze the crowds. He lauded their courage in doing such acts, and gestured widely to the air as the spot light was removed from him. The Ariel stood now, spotlight blinding, and leapt towards the handle that swung at him.
