Whence Left, Have I

Whence Left, Have I

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

When I die, don't mourn me....celebrate my life instead....

"

Whence left have I, this mortal realm
Shed not a tear, for me
For mouldering in this stagnant earth
I shall be released

Fear not my passing, nor my ghost
Fear not the deathly breeze
The echoes of my parting words
That echo through the leaves

Macabre bouquets, lay not at my grave
Giveth me no marker
No standing stone to guard my bones
Forget me, ever after

Anonymity, thou shalt giveth me
My words, become the wind
Returned once more from whence I came
From whence it all began

Whence left have I, this mortal realm
Shed not a tear for me......

I write for pleasure, and for therapeutic reasons...it relaxes me. Why exist in the real world when my own world holds such splendor? That's enough about me though, please, read away, and if you f.. more..
