Eternal Beauty

Eternal Beauty

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

To the One I Love....

"

Painted fragility, I behold
Thy beauty fascinates me
Rendering me speechless
Unable to discern from dreams
And reality
Wherein mine heart screams
But tears flee from mine eyes
To fill the abyss of lonliness
For thou art not mine
'Ware mine precious heart
Become not a prisoner to infatuation
I beseech
But I implore
Take flight on the downy feathers of Love
To whisper in here ears
The delicate words I utter
Gentle as a flower 'pon the breeze
The fragrance of Love
A bouquet so delicate
Time stands
To breathe in the decadence of Eternity
With three words whispered
Floating over the eons of time
To bridge the gap 'twixt Thou and I
I Love You
Hear my gentle whisper, the scream of mine heart
As it thunders in mine chest
The drumbeat of Love
Rhythmic, melodic
Sensual
Painted Beauty, so fragile
So strong
So Eternal
Thou art always in mine heart

This is beautiful. The choice of words just seem to jump out at the reader. Very gothic in style. Great write!

This poem is spoken, not just read with such eloquence.
I can almost hear you speak these words. That is indeed a
hard task, but you managed to speak them with your voice
as readers close their eyes to listen. This poem is something
I could imagine hearing in another time, place. A gentleman
courting, reading this poem aloud to her under a full moon,
but he stays proper like a gentleman should. Yes, I have a imagination...
I am a writer, so I enjoyed the visionary....AD
