Never Enough

Never Enough

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

This is actually a song I wrote....

"

        Walking down the moonlit road
To a world I've never known
The future has a plan for me
A destiny, I've yet to see

And the Gods all laugh at me
When one night just isn't enough
And the Angels all mock me
When right now isn't quick enough
I would sacrifice to have you here with me
When tomorrow never comes
I would sell my soul a million times
To be with you My Love

The darkness envelopes me
Rivers of tears flow
Away you take me, on fragile wings
To where the demons never go

Heaven bleeds before my eyes
The mourning song, the Angels sing
Blistered love and scabby hearts
Your gentle touch, will heal

And the Gods all laugh at me
When one night just isn't enough
And the Angels all mock me
When right now isn't quick enough
I would sacrifice to have you here with me
When tomorrow never comes
I would dive into the depths of Hell
To be with you My Love

Kiss me quick, I slowly die
Bleeding romance, raining down
Your heartbeat is my lullabye
As I'm slipped into the ground

Hold my hand, don't let go
Take this battered, tortured soul
A single kiss and I'll be free
We'll fly on wings of destiny

And the Gods all laugh at me
When one night just isn't enough
And the Angels all mock me
When right now isn't quick enough
I would sacrifice to have you here with me
When tomorrow never comes
I would live a thousand lifetimes
To be with you My Love
