If Tomorrow Brings Me You...

If Tomorrow Brings Me You...

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

I tried writing a romantic piece instead of my usual violence and bloodlust

"

        Gazing under a satin sky
Sequinned stars adorned
Wishing you were here with me
Not on some distant shores

Wishing on a shooting star
Praying to the moon
Hoping that the time will pass
And together we'll be, soon

Throwing coins in a wishing well
Make my wish come true
Let forever be today
If tomorrow brings me you

I remember this with such fondness.
Simply beautiful. One day maybe the distant shores, won't be so distant.
Well done with this piece.
