Before I Fade Into A Dream

Before I Fade Into A Dream

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

Before I fade Into A Dream, I shall Leave These Kisses, Three

"

        sleep my love
in silent bliss
come what dreams
created by kiss
taste the salty lips of mine
when sleep releases, hopes entwine

i'm as real as can be
delusion not, nor fantasy
prayers answered, by a fallen god
created me, to fill your head
but Lover, never open your eyes to see
i was never real, i was always here
before i fade into a dream
i will leave these kisses three

I really enjoyed this piece. It was lifting and inspired with just a hint of illusion. I like the idea that if we are to open our eyes then perhaps we woulod lose the dream forever. Perhaps this is a analogy for life as if we refuse to dream we do not truely live. Great work!!
