The Lord And His Fallen Angel

The Lord And His Fallen Angel

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

For My 'Fallen Angel'

"

The Lord looks for his Angel
Through the tangled mass of webs
Hoping she can find her way
To his cold embrace

Lies of Love and harmony
Caused him to learn distrust
But she became the light he used
To guide his darkest path

Fallen Angel, hear my cry
Whisper with the wind
Answer with a wind born kiss
To soothe my chaotic mind

The Lord surrenders unto you
Cold heart beats once more
Angel, willst thou not answer me
And save this Demon's soul

Love I give, unconditionally
And wait with arms outstretched
The Lord and Fallen Angel
Make Heaven in the Hell
