All By Command of The Greeks

All By Command of The Greeks

A Poem by Danni

Artemis/Silver arrow shoot straight through snowy mountain tops and into an opposer's heart with youthful maidens following

Aphrodite/Deceive all with your lustful, flirtatious, and endearing ways; believers shall follow your majesty's wishes

Zeus/Strike, flare, and signal with lightning bolts and bold golden zaps

Hermes/Fly past all with winged shoes until you reach a new, futuristic horizon

Apollo/You are the sun, and the sun is you; ride into the sky in a chariot of orange fire and red flame

Hera/Lily, lotus, scepter, throne; bless the marriages of all without failing in your own

Poseidon/Crash a slew of waves while directing and creating chestnut-brown horses

Demeter/Your daughter shall come home soon; now grow and prosper, culture and crop, and perform your agricultural duties

Hades/Dark demon of the underworld let her go; all dear Persephone wishes for is to go home

Ares/Wage and create grisly war, all clash and fight comes from you; you are rotten to the core

All By Command of The Greeks
