Splattered and Smeared

Splattered and Smeared

A Poem by Water Blakmon

Like paint splattered on canvas
A frustrated painter looking for order
A contour of signifigance
Something resembling recognition

Familiar offsprings the similitude of family

Warm welcomes out of winter elements
Brush strokes and squiggly line splatters
Colors of rainbows that lyrical lines have banished

Kindred to chaos: splattered
A fine brush forsaken

Water doesn't want it anymore so...
When my fine brush strokes smears a page,

Trying to manufacture the patterns of
What dreams may come...

I'll leave streaks and the moisturized memories of Love's residue
Remains contained within' me

My brush is eager to show you
What it can draw on the inside
How soft the touch glides on something familiar

I see something so sweet I can taste it...

I sense something so soft...

I feel it

Wow yes I dig it. There is so much to be read between the lines, a beautiful love story really.
